THE RESTAURANT

The restaurant, built in May 1983, it’s located in Andonno, a small village near Valdieri in the Gesso valley.

The restaurant’s design reminds you of a mountain chalet.

The entrance guides you right through the core of the venue: a big wood fired oven with a giant illuminated wheel on top.

Here you can watch the pizza chefs at work and look around for the desserts’ display, all of them entirely homemade, the sausages which accompany the tasting menu and the ever so fresh fish when the chef offers it.

THE CUISINE

Our cuisine is solely based on local products meticulously selected by our chef.

Among the multiple specialties on the table, many of them are farm-to-table dishes, a variety of cheeses from the Gesso valley, Valdieri’s trout, lambs from Roaschia and seasonal mushrooms.

Andrea Audisio, chef and owner of the restaurant, for 30 years he nurtured the love for a revisited but local cuisine exclusively homemade with a touch of modernity and internationality.

OUR KITCHEN GARDEN

Basil, sage, mint, thyme, borage, horseradish, zucchini, tomatoes and parsley are carefully grown in our small kitchen garden by our chef that personally uses them to improve the dishes.

THE CHILDREN'S CORNER

Stars, flowers and children are the only three things that we have left from paradise. Here at the Ruota Due they are always welcome, and they can have fun in our children’s corner.

THE PARK

The ever so intense aroma of the linden, the red beeches’ solemnity and the lilac of the blooming wisteria will help you to disconnect from the frenzy of everyday and will help you relax in our beautiful park.

Inside the park you can find our drinks and appetizers area (reserved for ceremonies) and our relax area equipped with tables, benches, chairs and our children’s corner.
